The North Coast 500 was voted one of the world’s top coastal touring route.

 

The North Coast 500 is more than 500 miles of stunning scenery along the edges of the North Highlands. one of Scotland’s best-kept secrets. The North Coast 500 is so much more than just a driving route; it’s all about the journey and the experiences you’ll enjoy along the way.

It begins in the city of Inverness then along the west coast to Applecross and then northwards towards the towns of Torridon and Ullapool. Along the way you'll pass some of the most northerly coastal points in Scotland.

 

It is recommended to give at least 5 - 7 days to complete the NC500. You should also consider what you'd like to visit and how much to do each day.
